Noted. If your biggest concern/issue is how you will spend 6-7 hours at the airport, I would say def. go for it. Not the end of the world in the event it happens. What is your alternative? Booking the longer connection to give certainty? That would be plainly stupid IMO/then you def. will spend the dreadful 6-7 hours at the airport. Again, don't overthink this.
