At 21 years and a few operators each (most are ex Wizz, but not all) they are the more elderly, but not the most ‘experienced’ in the fleet. The -MIDx’s are older and -EUUA has an MSN within 100 frames. So they’re not outliers.
What they do have is an odd configuration with no bulkhead at 1ABC. For reasons I don’t quite understand. At Wizz they would have had a bulkhead, so someone made a decision to remove it. It’s odd because 180 or even 186Y is quite feasible with a bulkhead at 1ABC & 1DEF. It’s not a great layout for crew or Club passengers. Oddly these 10 aircraft don’t have spaceflex and BA have missed the chance to cram in another 6 seats at the back. One assumes BA don’t feel space flex and the extra 6 seats or a bulkhead can make enough money to justify returns at LGW - or else the -GATx fleet aren’t going to hang around?
