Now in fact 1B does not have a table - unlike the others as this is considered a safety issue for the crew sitting opposite. Why, you may ask and I cannot answer. However there is a table there and the crew can install it if they know how and lots do not. Those aircraft are so old that they have whiskers - they are not due for replacement any time soon under the current regime where there are not enough aircraft as it is to fulfill the schedules.
