I urge you to ignore the corporate moralists on this board and choose the option that makes the most sense for you. FlyerTalk is a weird place where people love being "technically correct"-- booking error fares and min/maxing award redemptions is kosher, but violating the CoC is a heinous crime. I'd never turn here for moral advice.
