I’m shocked that that was a change (sarcasm). Family and I have flown BA at least 1 dozen flights over the past decade. All tickets purchased at least 6 months prior and probably around 9 months prior and 100% of the occasions there was a significant change. Significant meaning change in class availability, change in connection and thus an impact on the itinerary, change in date for flight and or to outright just cancelling the flight.

Thus since the pandemic we no longer assume BA flights are credible and use any other carrier to get anywhere on the continent (even London)
