Slightly perplexed someone with a very tight connection would decided to go to the lounge for a coffee (knowing they have a tight connection). My first priority would always be: get to the gate! Whilst it could have been a bag issue, make sure you get to the gate at the very least.

Heathrow is notorious for bag issues and you had to switch terminals. I don't get the lounge part at all.
