It's not a trick question; I genuinely don't understand the data presented on the cancellation screen nor how dispositive it is. My uncertainty comes from not remembering/understanding UA's cancellation/refund terms when I purchased this reservation in September 2022. I
believe I should
not receive refunds for the $835.82 or $121.08 because I
believe I did
not purchase a refundable reservation. But maybe I'm mistaken. Maybe it's refundable. And this cancellation screen supports that supposition.
Adding to my confusion is the fact that I
have received refunds for all the seat upgrades and club passes. (Which I believe I should receive.) Those refunds posted to my credit cards on 4/19, a mere day after I cancelled the reservation. But, so far, I have not received the $835.82 or $121.08 refunds. And, like I said, I don't believe I deserve them. But, United is telling me I do.
Thus I ask,
should I expect to receive (in a few days or so) the $835.82 and $121.08
? Perhaps another way to ask this is, Has anyone ever known the cancellation/refund screen to be incorrect?
