I have a Finnair flight ARN-HEL-DFW-MCO. I read that on US flights you need to collect your baggage and clear customs/immigrations at the first stop and then drop your bags off again. I assume this means at DFW I need to go through immigration, get my bags, change terminal and recheck them in?

On the outbound my flight arrives in DFW at 15:05 and the next flight departs at 16:30 and it says last check in at 15:30. Does this mean I have 25 mins to do all of the above? What happens if there’s a long immigration queue for example?

On the return can the bags be checked through from MCO?
