And now Maverik is buying Kum & Go. Another one with a buggy POS system. Since Maverik used to be on Radiant just like Kum & Go (but isn't now), I expect Maverik will move Kum & Go over to the Maverik system.

Maverik may be one of the only chains I've seen that has used Verifone MX915 (never enabled Chip on these though), then Equinox, and now Ingenico. The Equinox units are getting switched out to Ingenico during remodels/replacements but they still have a lot of them around. I don't think they have any more MX915s.

They have some new custom graphics on the Ingenico, that look pretty sharp. Certainly better than 7-Eleven's zero graphics other than a message to show ID and CC to Cashier that pops up if total is above a certain amount (still haven't ever been asked for ID, they bypass it every time).

Maverik heavily pushes Contactless... one of the heaviest pushers of Contactless I've seen. I think every gas pump they have anywhere is Contactless enabled now which is something few large chains could say (I think Love's can say it; Speedway used to be able to say it but can't anymore thanks to 7-Eleven doing downgrades and disabling Contactless at the pump at locations converting to 7-Eleven systems).
