Shocked to hear this news when I woke up today. I didn't know Charles personally but every interaction I had with him both here and in various groups on Facebook left no doubt what a great man he was, with a sense of generosity towards strangers that is very rarely seen, as well as just having an amazing sense of humor.

This is a huge loss to all the communities that he was a part of, both in law and travel.
