Thanks for the information. In recent past, I would get 3 bags free. Did it several times. However, that might have been a special benefit for Japan Amex Gold card Delta members. It's possible that the rules have changed. Haven't flown international for over 3 years, which is shocking, and it's odd to feel so out of touch.
