Thank you both, that makes sense. So I called CX, and she managed to come back with a fare, albeit at just over 2k eur. She said that the fare classes were Y instead of M/K so maybe that might be why?

So I'm just trying skyscanner now, and I'm getting some combinations of flights, but not quite the one above. And then the prices/flights available are all over the place for different days. I feel like I'm getting warmer now but its not straightforward!
