In my experience, Marriott >> Hilton at every price point. I'm talking hard and soft product, elite recognition/benefits, customer service, location availability--all of it. It is rare that I come away impressed from a Hilton stay (even at the so-called "luxury" brands), despite already going in with low expectations. When it comes to the basics of hospitality, despite Marriott's decline since absorbing SPG, Hilton still lags in every category. Switch to Marriott and don't look back!
