I am so saddened to hear of his passing and everyones loss. I met Charles back in 2012 on a whim where I was flying out of JFK towards Europe for the first time, and I put it out on Flyertalk to meet up with anyone who may be passing through. Funnily enough, so was Charles, both out of the same Terminal. So we met up and experienced the Swiss Lounge together. Over the years we have caught up as much as we can after I moved to the USA, any time he came through Seattle and had some layover time, we met up. Fast forward to 2020 and I know he is now an immigration attorney, so I gave him the chance to help me become a citizen here in the USA and last year in February of 2022, he was the only person allowed to come in for my citizenship interview and he was there when I was sworn in, not even my wife could be there, so I was so happy to at least have someone I would call a friend be there to witness that moment. Farewell dear friend, I know we will all miss you!
