But will try regardless! Not that 1,200/day/person is that egregious, it's more the principle. Out of curiosity, where did the 54k come from? For 2 people over 6 days, shouldn't it be 1,200*6*2 = 14,400?
Not sure how the 1200xpf is treated now. We were there a few years before Covid and the charge was per table. My 8 year old daughter wanted pancakes and french toast so we paid the up-charge ever day (10 days) for her. Our waitresses said we could order as much as we wanted, knowing that all three of us were sharing the one charge. I thought that was more than fair.
