From the airport, you will need to make a connection at Syntagma, whether you are coming by metro or bus, to take the tram to Kasomoúlē (line 6).
The station is a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
Taxis are probably easier. But beware, the hotel is outside the flat rate area -Daktylions - for airport taxis:
The easiest way would be to take the bus + taxi option (from the Hotel d'Angleterre, Syntagma square).
PS: Athens, like all of Europe, is safe. 😊

The hotel is a 30-minute walk from the Acropolis.
On the way (20 minutes walk from the hotel), do not miss to visit the beautiful Acropolis Museum (remarkable collection, beautiful contemporary architecture with a museum design highlighting the works, a terrace with a breathtaking view and a nice rooftop café/restaurant).
On the way, you can also chill at Monsieur Barbu, a pleasant local bar and restaurant with terrace.
And if you're interested in contemporary art, remember that the state-of-the-art National Museum of Contemporary Art (ΕΜΣΤ) is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
