We had an overnight layover, 5pm arrival to 8:55am departure. Room was 16,000 points, airport transfer was 140 QAR each way (easy to arrange, car seat for the baby was no problem, worked seamlessly).
We were proactively upgraded to a studio suite, very spacious, crib already in the room.
The Club Lounge was fantastic -- really good cheffy food despite being a buffet, and very friendly attendants. Slept great, shower indeed had excellent pressure.
And for work calls there was a great well-lit business center where I was able to plug in and not bother anyone.
Breakfast was a diverse spread and indeed very tasty.
Honestly for the price it was so good that I'm considering canceling our 2 night stay at the PH for the way back... but I have reasons to stay in Mshereib then so I'll likely keep the PH. I'm already preparing myself to be disappointed by the PH in comparison though, the service at the Westin was just top notch.
Many good pianos to play too!
