Pretty miserable flying 8 hour nonstop on 737 between seattle and Reykjavik. 737s do have free seatback inflight entertainment system ( headsets are additional) and fee Wi-Fi. Wifi provider is Viasat.

Icelandair 767 replacements were supposed to be the 787 Dreamliners, but were later cancelled. No announcements yet on its replacements.

Many things I disagree with here. First, I have successfully made FI and DE redemptions in the past year. In my experience, if availability shows on AS, it is bookable. Sometimes it requires the help of an agent, but it’s worth the phone call. Second, my flight from SEA-KEF was UNDER 7 hours takeoff - touchdown and I found the 757 much more comfortable than an AS 737-800 from BOS-SEA in economy. Return flight was slightly longer than 7 hours. I consider that a medium haul and had no issues with bathroom queues. My cousin flew on the FI MAX-8 and said it was marvelous in economy, and he is 6’5”. Granted, we always do pay for better seats than pure kettle.
