Flying J is certainly not a "once in a lifetime" experience for me, as you derisively put it, but my 3-5 NH flights a year are exclusively for leisure, I'm a night person, and certainly expect the availability of a full meal shortly after departure on a 12 hour flight if I want it.

Perhaps as someone who's required to work immediately upon arrival, tickets paid for by your employer, you'd find the noise of more leisurely travelers being served disturbing the sleep you'll need to be productive for your boss, I'd invite you, as you put it, "to fly on another flight or airline".
