As it was explained to me by the partner desk after extended difficulties trying to book LATAM. Alaska sees inventory that was available as much as two weeks ago since the systems all seem to have communications lags. Of course by the time it actually shows on Alaska's web site it has long since been grabbed by someone on another program that actually has decent IT. Thus when you try to book it it shows as unavailable. Alaska is well aware of the issue but seems to be in no hurry to fix it since this has been a problem for years.
