You often mention 'Internet TV'. What capabilities are you referring to exactly? I've used a HDMI cable with my notebook and a room's TV without issue, but more so to watch a training presentation or something. And I know some TV 'guides' include the capability to log in to Netflix or the like.
By that, I mean the presence of native applications, almost always including YouTube (others could be Netflix, Prime Video, etc), on the TV itself without having to connect one of my own devices. I like ending the night with a YouTube video or two, and it's nice to be able to watch on the big screen without any additional setup. Many Marriott properties use a similar OS - older ones are based on an Enseo system, and new ones show off your status level. I've run into a few separate systems on this past trip, including full access to a Tizen-based system (similar to Apple's TV OS) at the W Bogota.
