We stayed at the Burgenstock and loved the location and property. Good choice. Other spots to consider: Lausanne (instead of Geneva where we are staying at the Royal Savory), Gstaad (Alpina), Zermatt (we stayed at the Omnia and loved it), and Ascona on Lake Maggiore (Eden Roc).

In 2021, we did Andermatt at the Chedi—->Ascona at the Eden Roc—->Zermatt at the Onmia—->Lucerne at the Burgenstock, flying into/out of Zurich. Transits were very doable and picturesque.

This year we are doing Gstaad (Alpina)——>Saas-Fee (The Capra)——>Grundelwald (Boutique Hotel Glacier)——>Lausanne (Royal Savoy), flying tnto/out of Geneva.

Zermatt was truly amazing, and IMO, not to be missed. Ascona is very charming and it is fun to transition from German speaking to Italian speaking locations in such a short distance.

The Chedit was excellent and we found Andermatt to be charming despite some more negative reviews we saw on line. We took a portion of the Glacier Express, which stops in Andermatt. The train station is almost directly across from the hotel. For the price we found the speciality train overrated. Heading back to Andermatt we took a regular train. Of course the views are the same and in first class the seating was very comfortable.
