I have an open jaw on a RTW trip in April/May. I will fly to Sydney and return to Seoul from Auckland. I planned everything carefully. I would spend some days in Sydney and proceed to Christchurch on May 1, 2005. On May 4 I would fly to Auckland to catch my KE flight.

I prefer Expedia for multiple destinations, as they take care of everything and give me a ready to go package. I chose the 8:25 AM flight SYD-CHC and an early morning CHC-AKL. Everything for CAD $ 350.00. I waited some days, as sometimes they have an special. Result: for the last 3 days the flight hasn't been available, unless I am willing to part with more than double the money. CHC-AKL is still available, but the most important part is SYD-CHC.

I've tried the Qantas site, without success. I am not familiar with Qantas, therefore I don't know how to check if the flight is full, if the cheap seats allocation has been sold out, etc.

I am counting on the experts of this airline to help me. Can I buy this ticket somewhere else for this price? I am not well informed about the exchange rate for today, but I'd say that it would be around 370 Australian.

I will appreciate any information.
