I just checked EWR-NRT and there's no IN/I9 availability. It is also not consistent for Europe (EWR-LHR seems to have a lot; I did not see EWR-CDG or EWR-MAD as a spot-check). Seems to be the usual "get it while you can". That said, since you can't use PlusPoints that far out unless you have already requalified for your relevant status, it's not super-useful except for award travel.
