I always book two rooms and we get all the upgrades associated with it on both rooms. This year - I’ve been upgraded to presidential suite twice as we are basically a family - the rooms still had hallway access and we shared the large common space. Not sure if that is the norm. I’m assuming Europe and North America - hospitality doesn’t really exist compared to Asia.
This has nothing to do with hospitality. You realize this all costs the hotel $$$ and they are going above and beyond if they upgrade both rooms and offer additional amenities such as lounge access or BF?
Many hotels in Asia don't offer this either to be honest. Does it happen more often in Europe and Asia vs. the US ... yeah, I'll agree with that.
