Can I assume the StR is not really walkable to the main tourist sites and attractions?
You could, but the route would be rather circuitous and confusing. Jakarta is overall not a city designed for walking and the street layouts can be bizarre. The Aloft somehow lucked out in its location in that getting to nearby attractions is straightforward.
