Thought I’d update, at least on the currently booked plan, since you all were so helpful. Moved some stuff around and now depart on last day of visa for Istanbul and don’t return to EU at all. Flying directly home from IST via LHR. I will admit that I’m relieved not to have this little crisis hanging over my head. We moved the whole trip up a week.
