Looking at reviews from a span of years, it seems that the beach villa lighting is fairly drab/dark. Have they made any improvements in that regard to improve more modern lighting/accent lighting? I feel like the lighting makes the interior look a bit dated.
The lighting in the beach villas is undoubtedly low. Mixed with the relatively dark interior I found it to be extremely calming and soothing - I wouldn't call it dated, but that is undoubtedly personal preference. I rather liked the low-key presentation of the rooms. There was no sense of trying too hard.
