This just happened today to us as well. Our boarding passes are ALWAYS right next to each other when my wife is my companion...except today! I am A18 and she is C47. Booked her as companion 2 weeks ago.

UPDATE: There were 2 other couples on our same flight that had the same issue. Obviously this is some sort of SW systems glitch.
