Recently took an Avis at MSP for a 5-day visit, received a brand new Tucson which was ok. Checked my receipt after and noticed I was billed an extra day + late return fee + fuel fee. Same thing as others reporting, fuel was noted 8/8, as well. Called them up and mentioned how I flew out on the scheduled drop-off day so it'd be mighty hard to be driving it for an extra day, plus I imagine there are many cameras that showed me pulling into the garage, dropping it off, etc.. Fella agreed to refund the charges. Now looking at my statement the extra $80 or so wasn't reversed but rather I received a refund for ~$230. So somehow in trying to fix their overcharging they managed to basically give me half off the total 5-day rental.

I'm more the type to prefer lack of headaches over anything, but I'll take the cash back I guess
