This reminds me of a short-haul biz flight I had to HEL where the champagne they served was the worst I have ever tried, even including all champagnes/sparkling wines/etc. I would have MUCH preferred a good sparkling wine then than the nasty champagne I got (gosh I wish I would have taken a picture to remember the brand).
No idea, but you have to keep in mind a lot of people here just like to complain but still spend all their money on AY.
In the end, they scaled down from a mid-/low-end champagne to a mid-/low-end sparkling wine, so it was never a mindblowing experience anyway.
