Sounds like they are using up old stocks. It' a bit like combining leftover mains and sides that don't go well together and serving them to pax. Doesn't have a very F class feel to it.

Hadn't seen the plastic bottoms for a while and don't like them at all: they are light, but have zero flexibility, which makes them very uncomfortable.
