Hmmm, it doesn’t quite work like that in the example I gave because the person hasn’t been charged with anything and so doesn’t necessarily need to defend themself, though I do understand your concern.

Just to provide some context, if there is a criminal investigation then it is sometimes necessary to keep a certain amount of information back.
