More than that. it’s been created when A-Club became LCAH but very very few hotels used by that time.
I remember hotels calling our team for advice for resolving issues more than 10 years with courtesy points.
Under the A-Club era and even before, compensation points were given by CS, it represented an excessive cost for HQ so that's why i guess we moved to a system where hotels could grant points from their own pockets
