If she sticks with the 206 I would wait until she gets to the UK before considering what would be reasonable. After all, she won't know how bad it is until she's experienced it. If the seat can be adjusted manually then it's not quite as hopeless as if it's stuck in the upright position. BA will offer Avios commensurate with the scale of the problem and there are threads on here to check that she's being offered a fair amount. If not she can push back until a reasonable amount is agreed.
