Quoting my own post, we (dad, mom and three year old) actually went ahead and booked 5 days just after easter. One day before checking in I could see that we were upgraded to a junior suite on 55th floor, and it said in the Hilton app that we would get access to level 45. I was a little surprised by that since reading this forum had me believe that we would not get access. When we checked in we were informed that the app has an error and would in fact would not get access. I was a little disappointed at first, but at the end it did not really matter. Level 45 is a beautiful lounge with big windows, but it is all inside. Breakfast and reception from 17-19 can be done outside and with a temperature around 25 degress celcius staying outside was perfect.

We had an amazing time in the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional and the hotel had a more beach hotel vibe that we thought before going. I took less time going from 55 th floor to the pool in Conrad than it did in Hilton Abu Dhabi yas island. The pools were bigger, the beach was closer. The room itself on 55th floor was odd. More than 60 m2, but with a big sofa (5 meter) covering the whole window. Huge bathroom with separate toilet and shower, but with a glass door (not much privacy there). 50 inch tv on the wall so far away from the bed that it felt like looking at stamp. But at the end we didnt spend much time in the room, the pools are beautiful and shaded, the staff is wonderful and food is very good. One thing annoyed us though, the pool temperature. In the morning the kid pool was 27 degrees and the main pool 28-29 degrees. 31 degrees is so much better and that was the temperature in Hilton Yas Island.
