I wonder if this development will entice entertainment related companies to hold movie premieres there.

From my own foreign perspective I do marvel at how clear the directive about the building’s purpose was - https://www.kumesekkei.co.jp/en/desi...velopment.html

And how impenetrable I find the kabukicho tower’s own website to be.

I’m glad I have some time to try and figure out how to use the space before my own visit.

ETA - cannot see it mentioned anywhere on the main website but there appears to be a very nice observation deck in this building. Hopefully it is complimentary (appears to be part of Jam17)
Am also happy to learn that one of the food court themes is “B Gourmet” (at the appropriate price point) which aims to collect together a relevant selection from around the country. Usually “B Gourmet” settings are limited to lunch times and, occasionally, rigid evening periods. This might provide a convenient bypass for visitors with bursting itineraries. Again; not on the main website.

In addition, according to this press release https://prtimes-jp.translate.goog/ma..._x_tr_pto=wapp
there looks like there will be a kind of cabaret opportunity on the 3rd floor at Hanamichi Naito Shinjuku during the evenings and during the day also on weekends where diners can view Kabuki type performances.
Another feature is open air dining at BBQ Terrace Sunrise - reservation required
