When changing terminal, do you have to pass the immigration? I came from non-EU countries and will fly to non-EU countries via Madrid airport.
My arrival will be in T4 and my next flight will be in T1. I will bring no checked baggage.

Do I need to have my next flight in the same T4 to avoid immigration?
