As a Star G (Aeroplan SE) with United Silver, on a mixed itinerary ticket (AC first), is there any way to get access to the E+ at check in other than luck of the draw? The agent I spoke to said I can only get those benefits if I use my MP number for the whole itinerary, which of course I am not going to to do on the AC segments.
