correct, a GUC will not make additiolnal PS space appear out of thin air.
In that case you can't make it onto the upgrade list at all i guess (as you have to be confirmed into PS first )?
not sure why people just keep making this assumption since nothing in the policy says this. The day of departure D1 upgrade list will in fact include people confirmed and ticketed in Y if the GUC is applied correctly. This has been documented in this forum approximately 2000 times.
