Looks like USPS finally turned contactless on at the kiosks. The one bad thing (other than how the reader is actually positioned on it) is that the software apparently doesn't handle CDCVM quite right. Google Pay wanted me to verify my fingerprint again and instead of the terminal saying "see phone" or similar, it just claimed that the application was invalid. However, it ran my phone no problem after I authenticated.
