For those of you who are having to read the original post a few times to get the gist:
One train operates between the AirTrain and P4 station ONLY. It's a back & forth so you will be waiting a bit.
All other trains operate P4 to the terminals. There is NO through train from the terminals to the AirTrain station.
You must transfer at P4 (get off one train, wait for the next one to your destination) using the same side of the station which is slowing things down.

OP meant to type "P4" where they said "T4" as there is no T4 at EWR. Also, OP means "except" where they wrote "besides". (Sorry if I sound like the grammar police - the use of the word besides threw me).

As a reminder this has been happening with the airtrain off and on for months! Sometimes on nights sometime weekends sometime just for fun.
