To be fair, the alarm clock does have two USB ports for charging. In situations where the alarm clock doesn't have charging ports, I just unplug the alarm clock and plug in my own charger (plus that helps get rid of additional ambient lighting caused by the clock).
Good point. Note that it would not be that easy to unplug this particular alarm clock as the power cord dives into an inaccessible area behind the bed unit.
Also, I am far less interested in regular USB ports now as my devices have/are migrating to USB-C. Really need access to an outlet.
