Recognition on 4 or 5 flights in a row, that seems a bit out of the norm.....

I have zero expectations. Lounge access and boarding group one or two is it for me.
Anything else is a bonus and if singled out is embarrassing

In the last 12 months, I have travelled on 28 planes, all within Europe, 27 BA and one Lufthansa all for pleasure.
10 in CE business to regain status and the rest in Y Economy

Upon reaching gold, I was greeted by the in flight lead clutching an ipad in Y, congratulated on reaching gold and given a couple of complementary drinks mid flight. A little embarrassing but nice.

On a flight to Lanzarote last month, I had similar treatment from two members of the cabin crew and the in flight lead. The first cabin crew member even asked me if I was one of their pilots 😂
Although this was nothing to do with status, but a pilot friend had found out which flight I was on and crafterly mentioned to the crew to look after me, which was nice. But you end up with the other passengers in Y rubber necking to see who the special person was.
A young couple next to me were most grateful when I gave them the bottle of champagne (they obviously hadn't tried NF before)

Other than this nothing, except I have always been polite and happy to chat with crew members as to how their days are going etc, (expecting no special treatment) as I would if I was on a bus, train or in a shop.
