Whilst not the most favourable flights or in particular aircraft (737-8!), I wish to use velocity points to book one-way fares from Haneda to Melbourne (via Cairns) early in 2024.

VA's current website has been setup to be able to book return fares from VA's usual Australian airports to Haneda for a few months I think. However it is not setup or functions to allow a one-way trip at this stage (from Japan anyway).

Considering this service doesn't start until late June, is it likely I'd probably have to wait until around that time until their website functions correctly to book what I am after? Or do people think it should come online far earlier?
