I'd personally love if UA started considering EWR-TPE/ICN on their own metal. It seems doable based off of doing GCM via NRT as an approximation, but I could imagine that maybe they are hesitant to add more TPE routes if that causes issues on restarting mainland China routes, whenever that happens.
