The biggest difference is no changes.
While they are called "non-changeable", you can get an e-Credit back if you need to change them as long as you pay a fee. For US origin fares, it's $99 per ticket for domestic flights and $199 per ticket for most international routes. They call it a "cancellation charge", but you will get an e-Credit back as long as the fare is more than the charge.
