Had a weekend stay here, trying it out instead of my usual places in River North.
Summary: Great newly built property, well run, rates usually good, bit distant from usual "scene".
For me, it will be an option when more central hotels are all high rates. I did find the "extra" travel to the things I wanted to do annoying so will default back to River North as a preference.
Staff were very friendly, engaging, efficient. Whole hotel felt clean and well run. Titanium status acknowledged at check in. Early check in accommodated as well.
Typical SHS breakfast, starting at 6AM. scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy were the hot items the one day I looked.
About a 10 minute walk to red line station. Plenty of restaurants to chose from in the area, but didn't notice any usual conveniences. 7-11, Starbucks, etc.
Bunch of pictures below, trying to capture anything that someone might have a question about. Some random notes under some pics for my observations.

Down this street to the hotel entrance.
K-cup coffee maker. 1 regular and 1 decaf provided. Additional available at front desk for self replenishment. I "think" it was Green Mountain brand.
Microwave and fridge underneath.
One side of the bed had 2 power outlets and 2 USB charging ports. The other side of the bed had zero outlets of any type, just a clock.
Seems like a poor room design to not have them available on both sides of the bed.
This iteration of SHS has a built in closet instead of the wardrobe piece in previous iterations.
The sound proofing was impressive. I could not hear any road noise at all, even though directly adjacent to highway. I did hear faint train noise on occasion, but not enough to disturb sleep for me.
The dual shade was also very nice with a sheer as well as a true "blackout" shade, with the fabric going into groves on the side of the window.
Combined bathroom facilities, instead of the split toilet / shower setup in previous designs. Still have the glass door, which lets a lot of light come through when the bedroom area is dark.
Desk area has 2 power outlets and 4 USB charging ports.
