It's been 5 years since I was last able to make an FB redemption on a US domestic flight. Now that I check that same route - DC to NYC - there is availability on almost every date I have checked.

The last time I checked was in the summer of 2022, for an NYC-SFO flight; these are also now bookable, at least in September and in J only

Something has indeed changed in the last few weeks....
