Well, the leg room in 1A and 1B is also not to shabby at all. Someone had taken 2D on one of my recent flights, so I had to slum it in row one

Of course, the leg room in row one above is quite a bit less than you get in 2C and 2D...

Still, row one is still better, from my perspective (I'm not hugely tall) than the others.

I like space at my face height, which is why I like the front rows on short haul more than those further back.
